Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in France: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in France showcased varied performance trends. This data is sourced from Sensor Tower, where more detailed insights are available.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at around 35K and peaking at over 61K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw an increase, reaching approximately 8.8M mid-quarter before slightly declining to 7.9M.

Google Earth maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 18K and rising to about 24K by the end of the year. Active users fluctuated, with a high of 500K in early October, ending the quarter with around 402K.

Polarsteps Travel saw a dip in downloads mid-quarter, decreasing from 16K to 11K, before recovering to over 21K in December. Active users exhibited a similar trend, with numbers rising to 243K by the quarter's end.
